About CPV Codes
CPV codes consist of 8 digits plus a check digit, structured hierarchically:
- Divisions (XX000000) - 45 broad categories like "Construction work" or "IT services"
- Groups (XXXX0000) - Subcategories within each division
- Classes (XXXXXX00) - More specific classifications
- Categories (XXXXXXXX) - The most detailed level
